Recently, the Stainless Steel Company of Xingtai Steel announced that the trial production of ESR ingot XGYZ01, the private grade of high-end casting die steel yields successful result. The successful trial production of high-end steel for large-scale integrated automobile die-casting moulds not only enriches the product lineup of high-tech and high value-added remelting steel, but also shows our advantages in high-quality speical steel and core competitiveness of technology.
It is understood that, due to the special content of this steel grade, the processes of continuous casting billet smelting and electroslag remelting are difficult. However, with the joint effort of technicians in technique center, stainless company, steel plant and wire rod plant, relying on the feedback results of high-end market customers and advantages of techonolgy platform, our R＆D team successfully solves the problems in steel making and electroslag through several rounds of mechanism analysis, brainstorming, benchmarking comparison to achieve the perfect match between the type of Self-produced raw material billet ingot and electroslag furnace crystallizer.
